The Border Guard's former control point is located in the northern part of Lake Inarijärvi, on Čärbinsuálui Island on the northern side of Varttasaari Island. The cabin is located at the bottom of the sheltered Selkälahti Bay and there is a jetty on the shore that is also suitable for large boats. The interior of the cabin was renovated in 2009 and it is suitable for year-round use.
