Palovartija house was originally built in 1845 and renovated in 2005. It lies at a beautiful high ridge in Punkaharju Nature Reserve. The house is well-equipped and electrified with four beds in the main building and four in the storehouse. Lake Pihlajavesi - rich in fish, the National landscape and the services of Punkaharju are right next to the house.
